Weekend Warrior (7/8/9) - freeware game from Pangea. I think I've only ever managed to get to wave 6 Think invaders, without the bases to protect you. Space Junkie (?/7/8/9) - awesome arcade game. Apparently there's a classic version of it. SimTown (?/7/8/9) - very mac like town sim game. I haven't really played YootTower enough to see how it compares SimTower (?/7/8/9) - best tower sim game. Silhouette (?/9) - originally a super famicom development enviornment-literally made by Nintendo-decent emulator. Pathways (7/8/9) - precursor to Marathon? Basically nazi hunting game in Eygpt or something like that. MechWarrior 2 (7/8/9) - my PowerMac 6500 ran it beautifully, so it'll run well on G3. MacSolitaire (?/9) - simple solitare game. KiGB (?/9) - GB emulator, with gameshark/genie support - should have controller support, but you may need an extension with it. There might even be a screensaver mode for it if I remember correctly Gryphon Bricks (7/8/9) - the original? Lego Digital Designer. Gizmods & Gadgets! (7/8/9) - edutanement. Dungeon Master II (7/8/9) - RPG Final Fantasy like game. DinoPark Tycoon (7/8/9) - nice little zoo simulation game, with dinos. Cro-Mag Rally (9/X) - Pangea racing game. It runs a little slow on my clamshell iBook but still playable Connectix Virtual Game Station (9) - PS One emulator. Makes you feel like you're in a Bugs Life. Bugdom (9/X) - a game that was bundled with many macs. I always see it as open source on Linux so there might be an OS X build Abuse (7?/8/9) - sidescrolling game where you fight aliens as you escape? from prision. PowerPete/Mighty Mike (7/8/9) - Pangea game where you run around in a toybox trying to save bunnies. Otto Matic (9?/X) - Pangea? game that was released with many macs, fully 3d, makes me think I'm playing Toy Story. Marathon /2/Infinity (9) - available for free now. It's pretty awesome, logical puzzle game. Zombinis (9) - I was introduced to this during elementary school. I have copies if you can't find it online and are interested Double (9/X) - nice little Mahjongg game with multiple layouts and will read a folder of. Just plug in a usb controller and go to town Star Wars Episode 1 Racer (9) -yes, that N64 game you remember.
I'm not sure how well it will run on a g3, but I have a copy on a g4 machine running Leopard if you'd like it-I can't find any ppc versions of it anymore to download) The game was followed by a Mac OS X sequel called. Another Windows port of the game was done by Ideas from the Deep. The game was later ported to Microsoft Windows by Hoptile Research and published by On Deck Interactive. The game was included with the iMac DV 2000 and later iBook models.
